This wasn’t my first dive into the Tales series, but it was the first I started on my own and beaten. It was a wonderful experience and I loved every second of the story and the characters grew on me a lot. Most of the music was catchy and the banter between the protags was always nice. Monsters could use some sound design improvements tho and music doesn’t always loop good. I still have a lot of side things to do but as of today I’ve beaten the final boss and seen the ending cutscene. After this is Zesteria which I hear is not as good but I’ll form my own opinion when I get there. Either way I hold this game up with Xenoblade despite that games story being similar but better, doesn’t take away from this game’s narrative.
