I will admit that from the initial trailers and gameplay showings, I had no faith that this would be good. I was certain we would be in for another mediocre to bad Sonic game and was fully prepared to accept that reality.

Then I realized that I kept saying to myself "Oh! How do I get there?" with childlike-wonder multiple times in the first world and then I knew that I was wrong. Definitely my favorite 3D Sonic since Generations. I genuinely hope they use this as a foundation for the future of the series.
