I mean its one of the million Pac-Man clones that came out in the early 1980s, except you can have two people playing at once and you have goddamn guns LMAO.
Wizard of Wor is fun - but something I got bored after just a couple rounds. Nothing to really write home about, but still a fine time. The fact it’s such a blatant ripoff just with guns and better multiplayer slapped on it makes me rank it lower than the average 3/5 (which I like to rate games that fulfill what they’re intending to do). The way it kind of has these more difficult “boss” like creatures that come out, forcing you to kill them before they escape, was fun, and worth mentioning, but not enough for me to push the star rating any further.

I just mean more in that these are maze games with enemies but the similarities in how you'd approach them kinda end there imo, I dunno. A game more in common with this is something like Bomberman due to it being centered on combat emphasizing the (in that case, destructable) maze Anyways sorry again, I'm glad anyone's playing WoW (1980) at all :V

@bojangles4th Very interesting to hear! It’s okay we all can get heated about things, especially things we’re passionate about. I think the similarity to pacman that jumped out to me was the paths, being chased, and the fact Midway made it (who were the american company i think for getting Pac-man over seas) so i assumed they just took a game they got and tweaked it, which honestly i shouldnt have assumed!! The Bomberman comparison is a good one! Next time I see Wizard of Wor at an arcade I’ll probably give it another chance with a better mindset!
