You would think giving Mario a sentient water hose would make the franchise loose its touch. And yet, its considered one of the best Super Mario games ever made, and for good reason at that.

It may have added some lore into their world like Bowser having another kid named Junior, most of the main cast talks when they never did and its actually at times harder, I would play this game again in a heartbeat given the chance.
