I wouldn't say its a bad game, but I also wouldn't call this a good game. The game definitely didn't age well with the gameplay being very repetitive and boring after a while. I felt as though I had to use a lot of gimmicks to get passed the enemys and a lot of times I would have to get lucky beating the bosses having to wait for them to position themselves in a spot where I can beat them easily. For example the boat boss at the bottom of the ship was ridiculously stupid having one small door to get into and wait for the enemy's to rush to me to kill the boss. The one cool thing was the bullet time which I never really got bored of, I just wish the weapon variety was more fun.

Also why would they try and add platforming to this game? It was just janky at times and not that fun to begin with (especially during the hallucinations)

The story was very basic, but still sort of caught my interest. I did find myself wanting to know what the story was going to lead into. I did like the graphic novel cutscenes and jokes.

Im gonna have to play max payne 2 and see if it even was worth tom play this series. So far Alan wake/Quantum break is a much better remedy game to play in my opinion.
