An absolute freaking mess of a time. Clunky combat, terrible exploration, an ugly art style it's where shit really hits the fan for the trilogy. Where it has a fine story and the cinematic music (not in-game) is great, Xenosaga 2 is... an absolute chore to stomach for the 25-something hours you'll spend with it.
