Revolutionary, unique, full of depth. Once you pick up the controller, it's hard to put it down.
Its age only shows in its camera, which is a bit janky, making the platforming frustrating at times.
The difficulty spikes are not for everyone, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel the final Vergil fight was slightly too hard. Lore wise, however, it's a perfect fit, and it's all the more satisfying once you manage to land that final blow.
