This is one of those Kirby games I want to absolutely love; this has some of the best vibes and atmospheres out of alot of DR era like games and just the Kirby series in general. Along with a very good soundtrack and the ability mixing is such a strong idea.

I think the stuff that keeps it down alot for me is how really sluggish Kirby feels compared to prior games and the framerate doesn't really help at all. The ability mixing is super cool but it makes backtracking a pain in a ass cause its alot of trial and error to actually get 100% for specific shards and the game doesn't do a good job cluing you in on what you're supposed to do. It also has DR problems where a specific ability you need to get it is NOT in the level so you have to go back to another level. Its not fun.

This game has so much going for it but its issues bother me too much to really put it as a favorite Kirby.
