Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is an absolute blast – it nailed the feeling of being a powerful ranger on a revenge quest against Sauron's army. The nemesis system is genius – every Orc captain is different, and hunting them down actually feels personal! The movement feels super fluid, the combat's gory and satisfying, and the world itself is pretty cool to explore. It does get repetitive after a while, and the story's nothing special, but wow, slashing your way through Orc hordes never gets old!
