Far Cry 5 is a wild ride through backwoods Montana fighting a doomsday cult. Blowing stuff up, liberating outposts, and hanging out with animal companions is crazy fun, and the main villain, Joseph Seed, is super memorable. That said, the story starts strong but kinda fizzles out, and the constant kidnappings get annoying after a while. Still, if you're craving a chaotic open-world shooter with a beautiful setting, Far Cry 5 will definitely scratch that itch.
