Top Gun on the NES is a classic example of a movie tie-in game that's...not great. It looks kinda cool for its time, and the music is catchy, but the flying controls are super clunky, and the missions feel weirdly disjointed. That infamous carrier landing? Yeah, it's brutal. Diehard Top Gun fans or retro enthusiasts might get a nostalgic kick, but for most this one's a hard pass.
