Final Fantasy II (SNES) was a groundbreaking RPG for its time, ditching traditional levels in favor of a system where your characters improve based on actions in battle. The story is more mature than the first game, and the soundtrack is amazing! However, the difficulty spikes can be brutal, the leveling system is a bit of a grind, and some parts are poorly translated. Still, for any old-school RPG lover, it's worth experiencing despite its flaws.
