wholeheartedly agree! twilight syndrome is really a one of a kind series and it would definitely not be a hit for today's audiences, especially since the entire series is deeply rooted in japanese culture and would be hard to translate over to overseas audiences. also, the "normalness" of the first two games in particular is because suda didn't have much creative input since he started directing these games halfway through their development, just to let you know :)

Yeah I found that out later! I really hope someday we can get full-on translation patches for these games, as well as complete TLs of Moonlight Syndrome, Yuuyami Doori Tankentai, and Kinjirareta Toshi Densetsu in any form. Really neat stuff, and I especially love the look of these first two games, super unique.
