I spent forty hours playing this and in the end I guess I enjoyed my time in the game?

Night City is overwhelmingly well realised as a physical environment, massively let down by weird NPC AI and collision bugs that pull you out of the immersion.

Combat is fine, that's it. Nothing really to write home about.

The equipment system feels hugely underbaked. It could have worked considerably better and it just doesn't.

The UI and UX of the menus in this game is fucking atrocious. It genuinely mars so many potentially positive experiences with the game because it's ridiculously annoying to interact with its systems.

I enjoyed the main story, it was relatively decent. I liked the dynamic of the duo of V and Johnny, and by the end of the game they seemed like an interesting partnership. A shame there's no ending that supports both of them existing beyond the ending of the game. Endings are bleak as all hell but I guess to a certain extent I expected nothing less.

Only giving this 2.5 stars because I genuinely think the problems the game has almost outweigh any positive things. I can only hope that a year from now they'll release whatever the ultimate version of Cyberpunk is and that it'll be leagues better than what they launched with. It's obviously unfinished.
