This was a really fun little adventure game. Great art design, really fun level design and mechanics. Your classic Zelda style. It's heightened even further by the insane sense-memory inducing thing that is the instruction manual. It's a highly specific feeling inherent to the last 80s and the 90s and the existence of it alone in Tunic makes it feel next level, and that's just the feeling. The way they use it mechanically as part of your exploration and puzzle solving is fantastic.

Suffice to say I really liked this game, and I enjoyed it all the way through despite a handful of what I would call "unfair" combat encounters and bosses (I'm not ashamed to admit that I did turn on No-Fail for a couple of the encounters. Thank fuck they included this setting .).

Anyway, play Tunic. It's real good.
