I've heard nothing but great things about this game, and now that I've gone through and played it, I totally get all the hype. God of War mixes great graphics, fun combat, and an engaging story into a game chock-full of secrets and collectibles to find. The RPG elements, while not all that deep, are fun and give you incentive to explore more of the world, since there's a chance you'll find new armor or materials. It did feel a bit dull at times though, like if you just went through the main story it would be less noticeable but if you're like me and would constantly do side quests and whatnot, then it kinda felt old after a while. The side quests are good, but they do feel a bit repetitive at times. But really all-in-all I think this was a fantastic game, and those were mostly just nitpicks and small issues I had with an otherwise great game. I can't wait to play the sequel if I ever get the PS5.
