Skate 3 is the most accessible game in the series. There are difficulty levels, tutorials, and a lot of small annoyances from previous games have been fixed (though a few still linger). The game even runs at 4k/60 FPS on Xbox One X and higher. It's a lot of fun to play, and it's still got a small but active community, despite being a decade old.

All that said, as a single player experience, I think I slightly prefer Skate 2. There is just a certain charm and cohesiveness in New San Vanelona that Port Carverton didn't quite capture for me.
