On the short list of best tennis games. The gameplay is the highlight and feels unlike most tennis games I've played. It's more sim than arcade but still feels like a video game, in a good way. It's just the right speed (not too fast like some arcade tennis games) and the player is given feedback on each shot which is helpful when trying to improve.

The roster is strong on the men's side with the current players you'd want (Federer, Nadal, Djokovic) and legends (Sampras, Agassi). The women's roster is disappointingly lacking in comparison, but at least Serena is here.

Where the game falters is the career mode. While there are a good number of tournaments and courts, there's little else interesting happening besides just playing the matches.

This is sometimes called the last great tennis game and it came out 12 years ago. It's certainly the last one with the roster and major tournaments (except Wimbeldon) that should be required in any tennis game. We're long overdue for a new great tennis game.
