Sonic Prime Dash is a re-release of the infinite runner Sonic Dash with the microtransactions removed. While this is an objective improvement, I still wouldn't recommend this to even the most diehard Sonic the Hedgehog fan. I know the fanbase is famously divided & contentious, but this game only takes aesthetics and characters from the franchise. So past enjoyment of one or some or all of the many previous games isn't something you'll bring to the table. The gameplay is shallow, repetitive and monotonous. You log in everyday, claim your daily reward, collect 4 jpegs while dodging obstacles and then... nothing really. If you LOVE Metal Sonic and absolutely must see his back turned to the screen as you play, be prepared to grind for HOURS. The developers should've made the rewards closer in reach, it's not like they can make any further money from players in this version of the game.

The only reason I didn't give Sonic Prime Dash half a star is that it's included with the Netflix mobile app. So if you're subscribed to Netflix you basically already own it, which is nice I guess. But even with that being the case, the app offers other games (TMNT: Shredders Revenge, Shatter Remastered) that are a better use of your time. I'd also caution giving this to a child to play. While there's no mature content, the FOMO nature of collecting the game's daily rewards could definitely bring out addictive tendencies in a kid.
