A fantastic final booster pass. This DLC's strength is in its roster: Diddy Kong, Funky Kong and Pauline are all great final choices! Peachette is here too, probably because Nintendo wanted to capitalize on the character's memetic status but are too cowardly to make Bowsette a reality. But that's forgivable in my eyes because there are SEVENTEEN new Mii costumes (plus a hidden one that can be unlocked with a Princess Daisy Amiibo), all creative Super Mario nods. 7 of the 8 new tracks are wonderful, DK Mountain and the Wii version of Rainbow Road being tied for my favorites. The only flaw is the newest track, Piranha Plant Cove. The theme appears to be "underwater" (apologies to Spongebob Squarepants) and the track is poorly lit. Still a must play if you own the base game of MK8 Deluxe and a great send off to the best kart racer ever made.
