Usually open world games in this day and age are mediocre, but Elden Ring is really good at it. Sure, there are a lot of reused assets which can get repetitive at times, but the game is fun nonetheless. It's so big that it's practically impossible to see and get everything, some may view that as a positive and others as a negative, but it helps in the replayibility in addition to the different endings.

Environments and attention to details is excellent, really dig the aesthetics of this entry. Mechanics are more friendly so newcomers could get a grasp of the Souls series but not too friendly so veteran players can get a challenging experience.

Feels like a a visual tribute to Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne with the Dar Souls 2 game design but without the bullshit artificial difficulty.
