I pretty much got exactly what I wanted from the gameplay.
Story is weaker than the first game but the spectacle and set pieces make up for that for me. Voice acting is phenomenal across the board and make up for some pretty bland side characters.

Venom as a character in this game? Honestly far from my favourite portrayal. But good lord is everything else about him perfected. Tony Todd was god tier casting for the voice, his design is pretty much perfect to me, and the mission where he first shows up in his full glory is already among my favourite gaming moments of all time.

I could nitpick this game to death honestly but I still can't help but love it because of the areas in which it excels.
Not the best game I played last year but it was my favourite and it is now my go-to for when I want to just relax.
