I don't have anything to say that someone else has said better. Here it is. Heres what you're going to get from me!

Cheating in this game is kinda badass. It's just digging your hand in the back of a slot machine and pulling on the wires, then getting bored of it after. Then MAYBE I'll do this in a few months when I got 30 minutes to kill. Is it a numbing experience? Absolutely. Sometimes you got to be numb just so you can remember how awesome it is not to be in that state. It's like that one Nietzsche quote. God damn what was it?

The idea the VS is 'a pretty neat game' if you play it litterally once or twice every couple of months like this is actually a novel take. The meta progression systems get in the way of actually sticking to but its certainly a fun way to think about it. I wrote a dumb 40 minute long piece on this one but my take now is actually that I think this game quite literally promotes eye strain lmao.

I been meaning to put that into words on the videoplay but I'm still working on it, however that specific approach to the play experience would obviously mitigate that into a curious almost 'experimental' experience in satiricle absurdities.

My attempt at fishing the Nietzsche quote:

"To them virtue is whatever makes modest and tame; this is how they
made the wolf into a dog and mankind himself into mankind’s favorite
pet." - Thus Spoke Zarathustra, p. 135

Wait...thats not the one you're looking for. Oh well >.<

LMFAO Thank you for even trying!!! I swear the quote had something to do with 'how does one who never been sick know what health is?' I first thought it had to be from The Gay Science cuz it just sounds like it would be but couldn't find it! It's fine though I think I got my point across lol. I did read your review of vampire survivors and had a great time reading it. Ended up sharing it with a friend of mine cuz we had a similar conversation about VS.

Oh yeah thats cool, the VS post only slightly embarrasses me. I wrote it in an unrestrained intellectual frenzy so its sort of more than it needed to be (what I actually said got revoked by the mods but its at the end of that doc lmao, it had like 50 likes when it got removed). I have a new version in prep, look out for it.

I thought you were joking about the Nietzsche quote going for the one on suffering or w/ever. I didn't know you were actually looking for one in particular. Nietzsche said a lot of contradictory shit, and had like 10 books or something. Quote anything from Nietzsche and it would probably seem slightly appropriate if a bit Pseudy.

The main motivator for it was mostly for laughs, I'll admit that. Then thought it would be funnier to end the review with me finding difficultly with finding the quote. So you weren't completely wrong there!
