One of the absolute best open world racing games to grace the 360, perfectly simcade the game feels good, with enough eyecandy to rival the modern sequels, if not surpass them in art direction in some areas. Nice roster of cars, good race variety, great atmosphere (it actually feels like a festival compared to the sequels), and some of the best roads in any open world driving game to go through full speed. My only complaints are the voice acting is pretty lame, and there is no tuning, so no drifting or minmaxing for you. If you have played the sequels, go back to this absolute gem of a game.
