The setting is a bit too "organic" for me but the story lends itself to the Metroidvania genre, you controlling a woman that got powers because of experiments trying to save your village from the monsters these experiments caused.
The enemy design is not very original with most enemies being similar to one another and the gameplay is just ok, with ok platforming and an aiming system that, with a controller, got a bit frustrating at times.
