An absolute must-play if you're interested in racing games at all. It strikes the right balance between sim and arcade racer. I feel it appeals to fans of both. High production value, a staggering number of cars, and a varied world that is a joy to drive around. You still get bombarded with notifications and the menus can be overwhelming but I didn't feel like this took away from the experience too much. Knocking off a full star for the cringeworthy voice acting and storylines though. In the year 2022 we should not have characters demonstrate that they are Mexican by starting and ending English sentences with Spanish words. This might sound nitpicky but it is laughably bad and really took me out of the experience every time someone spoke.
