While detractors may cry "Well it's just Resident Evil with dinosaurs, innit?" that doesn't mean it's a bad thing. In fact it's a very, very good thing indeed, coming only a few years off the back of dinosaur hype care of Jurassic Park, it offered pitch perfect tension and action. In hindsight if you dip into this with a modern eye, you'll obviously spot the deficiencies, the same that all this style of game suffered, with the graphics resembling a dithered, aliased mess of colour that jerk from one dodgy camera angle to the next, but put in a more reasonable context it really is the T-Rex's bollocks.
