Overall, I had a great time with the game. It is really something when you get to experience some of the same joy of starting a new Zelda game for the first time, even though it felt just a little off because it's a fan game. Regardless, I was in it to see what it had to offer, and it was cool as hell! I really like the new models for things, items, and music, and even some of the areas are pretty cool looking -- one problem is that, and this is pretty obvious, it definitely lacks the polish of a Nintendo game, and it shows. A lot of puzzles are not very intuitive, there are a couple I had to look up because there would be no way in hell I would have been able to figure it out on my own.

There are also a few sections for mini-boss and boss fights where they give you absolutely no room to breath and it creates a big challenge, not because the fight is hard, but because you're fighting ten tiny Floor Masters in a cramped space with a ring of fire in the middle. The final boss fight was also very very cool looking and challenging, but they give you NO room between the monster and the walls (which fucking damage you) so you have to walk this tightrope while Z-targeting and trying not to get hit by lasers. Maybe that's where the challenge is, I don't know, but it was very frustrating.

At the end of the day it is a fan game and they did wonders with what they had. It was a nice experience, and it was kind of fun to figure out how to even play it in the first place, so it opens me up to more Zelda fan-games in the future.
