Es, sin duda alguna, el mejor Pokémon que ha salido en la última década. La evolución lógica para la franquicia en cuanto a estructura, jugabilidad y posibilidades acompañada de una historia más que notable (para los estándares de la saga, al menos) y personajes memorables. Ha conseguido incluso emocionarme en varios momentos y es algo que esta saga no había conseguido nunca antes.
Los nuevos Pokémon son en su mayoría excelentes tanto en diseño como en concepto y he disfrutado mucho de la región a pesar de que hay algunas zonas demasiado grandes y similares que podrían haberse reducido o hecho algo más icónicas en su lugar.
Obviamente hay que mencionar el apartado técnico: es absolutamente lamentable que un juego de estas dimensiones y prestigio salga en este estado. El rendimiento es bochornoso (incluso tras el parche que lo alivia un poco) y visualmente hay zonas tan pobres técnicamente que arrastran el conjunto hacia abajo.
Quería darle las 4 estrellas y media, pero no puedo darle más de 4 porque no creo que un desastre técnico de estas proporciones en el año 2022 tenga justificación alguna.
Dicho lo cual, jugablemente es lo mejorcito que ha salido de la franquicia y tengo muchas ganas de ver qué viene a continuación. Esperemos que con más tiempo y personal más cualificado para las cosas que quieren hacer y claramente no saben cómo.

This is, without any doubt, the best Pokémon game in the last decade. The logical evolution for the franchise in terms of structure, gameplay and possibilities accompanied by a very noteworthy story (for the series' standards, at least) and memorable characters. It even managed to make me emotional at several points and that's something this series had never achieved before.
The new Pokémon are mostly excellent both in terms of design and concept and I really enjoyed the region despite some areas being too big and similar that could've maybe been smaller or more iconic instead.
I obviously have to mention the technical side: it's absolutely shameful that a game with this size and prestige has released in such a state. Performance is embarrassing (even after the patch that made things a bit better) and some areas are so technically poor that it drags down the whole thing.
I wanted to give it four and a half stars, but I can't go above four because I don't think there's any way to justify a technical mess this big in the year 2022.
That being said, gameplay-wise it's the best the franchise has ever been and I'm really excited to see what comes next. Hopefully something with more time and more qualified staff for the things they want to create and clearly can't handle yet.
