This is a near perfect sequel. It takes a couple of hours to get back into things but when it gets rolling, the developers go sicko mode on ideas. The level design is near perfect. Literally every aspect from the first game has been improved. It's still really linear tho (which is a good thing imo).
EDIT: Go for 100% if you want some incredibly creative but difficult platforming challenges, as well as a Super Mario World reference (I'm probably the only person who likes the media nods in this game)
