Nioh 2 has improved a lot of my issues that I had with the previous game: a bigger roster of enemies to fight, a bigger variety of levels, and they even added a character creator which is one of the best I've ever seen. Lots of fun unique content to go through in general.
Plus, every enemy has a chance to drop their soul cores, which are basically their abilities, and it reminds me of the Castlevania games on NDS.
I also find the game balance better, it helps lower skilled players with the newly introduced yokai abilities and the ability to use summons in case they need assistance, but it's also plenty challenging for people that want something tougher.
