This game has the best combat I have ever played in a game, period. It is also up there in terms of overall gameplay and game feel. It combines a simple parry and retaliate style of combat with excellent attack visuals that make it a joy to play. You will seriously feel your improvement in this game as you continue since the game pushes hard into you improving your abilities and reactions in the game rather than increasing any kind of stat or level. The enemies and bosses are definitely some of the best From have ever made, however some of the "levels" could certainly have been improved, especially early on in the game. Even upon multiple playthroughs I do not really feel exhausted or bored of the combat despite its simplicity. The only group of people I would not recommend this game to are those who hate very reaction based gameplay or who are not as good at it. To everyone else, try this game, its gameplay is polished to an insane degree and deserves every bit of praise it gets.
