It's a fairly simple and fun puzzle game, I always wanted to try the Mario vs DK series and this was a pleasant surprise. The gameplay is easy to understand and anyone can try. The accessibility is also on point, having an "easy mode" for the ones who want a more relaxed experience. However, thought the game was a bit lacking. The game's price isn't worth it considering how much it has to offer, so I recommend getting it on a sale. It doesn't have much substantial new content, as expected from a full blown remake, with the new additions being only two new worlds (i think a level maker and an online play would be perfect for this title). This is more of a pet peeve, but Nintendo also omitted some iconic lines of dialogue from the cutscenes and the more "explicit" death scenes performed by Mario, but this last one is understandable. It isn't a perfect game but it's far from being bad or even mediocre.
