Yikes. I looked up reviews and thought it looked fun, but I instantly hated this one. The writing is so trash, and there's so much of it, and the exploration is slow and dull right from the get-go. The world feels too large, sailing around doesn't really feel engaging at all because there's nothing to do but pick up random chests on beaches or at sea and shoot at a few ships in combat encounters that all end up feeling the same, the trading seems too barebones to be especially engaging and the quests seem to just be exclusively fetch quests, sometimes with the twist that you sink a ship or two at the end of the fetching. Nah, this just made me feel like Black Flag 2 would've been nice and I already feel that every time I'm reminded of pirates.
