Is this game as good as I rated it? Probably not. However, nostalgia is a thing.

This was one of the only video games my family owned when I was really little. And I played it to death. I don't even love sports games, but this game always was just so fun.

But even putting the nostalgia aside, I think this game is really neat. It's a cool concept, being a sports game with RPG elements. It's got some interesting side modes, and it's pretty well made too. It's also just got some cool character designs, for a sports game anyways. The graphics are great, and the music is amazing. I think the biggest problem with the game is that it just gets repetitive. The tennis matches just get to be long, and not very different. But, towards the end, the opponents you face actually have some unique abilities that make those matches more fun. Also it has both singles and doubles mode, and they're both pretty fun if you ask me.

I will always love this game dearly, but I recognize that to most people, the game will probably get boring after a while.
