Part 1: The Sims 3 nostalgia is tiring at times
Some people look at The Sims 3 through rose-colored glasses, and say that the Late Night expansion was incredible because it came with "New York city" + night clubs + the fame system + vampires, and therefore The Sims 4 is a total scam for making us pay for those separately. But in reality the amount of content is not that different. What I do agree with is that living in Bridgeport (the Sims 3 world) felt more like living in a city, due to its huge size, the lack of loading screens, and having to deal with transportation. However, as far as I can recall, it felt rather empty.

Part 2: Apartments are great!
Some people are upset that you can't build or place your own, but I don't really care (and there's a new pack for that now). The apartments available are a great time and feel completely different to houses. I love that each neighborhood basically has a community lot in the center so you can hang out there as if it was an extension of your house. Especially the poor one has a lot of stuff to do with no loading screens required, like the basketball course, street vendors, and random artists that you can tip, plus the usual fishing, and plus 2 of the festivals that happen rather frequenty (but I haven't figured out when, lol). The cheapest ones come with additional problems in case you want an extra challenge, and the interactions with the neighbours are better than ever before. Half the nights they don't let you sleep because they are making love or listening to music too loudly, and sometimes there's a special event, and one of them shows up at your door in a towel asking to use your shower because they don't have water at their place. I don't know if there's more that I haven't experienced, I wish there was an option to "join the party" when you hear the loud music. But overall, great stuff.

Part 3: The festival and other activities
I love the introduction of basketball, though I wish there was a proper way to play it in teams and shit. There's also karaoke bars, ideal for a girls' night out. And then there's the festivals. There's a sort of comic con, a flea market where you can buy things for cheap AND sell your own stuff, one about spicy food, one about humour (?), and a weird one where everyone drinks ruffies to get horny (???). Overall, you can still get a lot of use for this pack even if your sims are not living in San Myshuno. You can have young sims raised in the suburbs excited to spend their weekends in the big city and stuff like that.

Part 4: Politician Career
This pack came out a few days before Trump became president and we got the politician career, weird stuff. Anyway, it's a pretty nice addition to the game, I love that it gives you the option to work from home (was this the first time they introduced that system?).
