Fun, if a little too linear for its own good. The story and writing, namely the banter between the McCall brothers is fantastic, and the core gameplay is pretty satisfying, but it's hard to ignore how much of a step back it is from the first game. The levels are painfully constricted, making those of the original look like fuckin' Deus Ex, and the Call of Duty setpieces just come one after the other. It has some unique things like the auto cover mechanic and the differing play styles between characters, but they tend to be a little janky (because it wouldn't be a Techland game otherwise). Definitely recommended for the story, but maybe play with a friend so it's not quite as monotonous; after all, that's the big selling point and I'm probably a dumbass for playing it solo.
