All levels beaten; three gold medals earned and several challenges beaten, but I'm not chasing all of these. Kid Tripp is a simple but challenging auto-runner platform game. With a low-resolution pixelart presentation, the game betrays its mobile roots, but otherwise is very playable for its Switch release. The high level of precision that is often required, combined with lack of checkpoints, mean that there's potential for frustration here, but the the short length of each level (typically 20-30 seconds) keeps this in check. Awards for collecting all collectibles in a level and speedrunning potential help to provide some longevity, but I was satisfied with completing a single run through the game.
