I finished every single side adventure and filled out the pokedex recently, so I decided to get back here and write something about it.
Still a really big disappointment in terms of performance, the game still runs like a slideshow in many areas. The story was lackluster, as is in most Pokémon games, but the ending and Arvin's story was good. Terastalizing is definitely much better than Dynamaxing as a gimmick, much more interesting. The online is also passable, I enjoy battling other players and being able to borrow other player's teams is great, but I also feel its mandatory as a beginner in order to play online since getting a decent competitive team is still a chore. Really enjoyed the union circle though, glad ot finally be able to run around with friends in an official game. ~
Customizing your character is absolutely hideous, what a step-down from Sword & Shield. It's so dumb that you can only wear certain pre-made outfits when the option to wear individual pieces is CODED INTO THE GAME and just greyed out.
Overall, it's a nice evolution of the series,really happy with the open world appraoch to the game, it's mostly held back by god-awful performance, some bugs and lackluster customization.
