I don't like fighting games. I don't like spending the time to learn them, especially when they tend to get patched and hard work to master something can all turn to ash. Nidhogg doesn't have any of that. It's you, one other player, and a sword for each person. Go nuts, it says, and I do! I scream and yell and my friends scream and yell back. The pure simplicity of this game makes it an undeniable couch classic.
