This is a 3D platformer that uses the idea of costumes. There are a total of 3 costumes in the game: Kung Fu, Bat, and Robin Hood. Each costume has an ability that Scooby normally can’t do. The Kung Fu costume can break certain walls, the bat costume can glide, and the Robin Hood outfit can shoot plungers like arrows.

Most of the enemies (excluding the bosses) in this game can be easily destroyed with a couple ground pounds or rolls. Though the Bat and Robin Hood costume cannot ground pound or barely do any attacks outside of Scooby’s spin. I don’t know why it was necessary to remove some of Scooby’s attacks for these other outfits to work. I give the Kung Fu costume a pass because it’s already attack based and still has a similar ground pound move.

The final boss is probably one of the most annoying encounters in the game. The part where you use the Robin Hood and Bat costume is fine, but the last part… it takes such a long time to do. They give you the Kung Fu costume for this, but honestly, don’t use it for this part. It’s much easier just for Scooby to use his spin attack since it’s a much faster attack. Unlike all the other boss fights, you can’t find any Scooby snacks to heal yourself here, so you need to be really careful. Rats also constantly keep spawning and there’s no way to stop it, so you have to watch out for the rats.

This game overall is just okay. I don’t have any desire to play it again.
