This is the most alright game I've played in a little bit. The combat is pretty fun, you become pretty op later in the game and the bow is pretty much the best thing. It became kind of repetitive with me just blasting dudes with the bow and then killing the boss guy. Also, the parkour in this is pretty terrible. The amount times I climbed the wrong way or just got stuck on random shit while climbing was so annoying. I can't imagine the game without the parkour in it, but it sucks. Hopefully the sequel fixes this.

That being said, the nemesis system is very very cool! It's great later in the game when you can command and army of enemies and create infighting between the captains and war chiefs. Taking a loser ass urik and turning him into a gigachad war chief is so fun. If only that translated to the rest of the game.

The story is fine. It really just didnt grab me. Skipping through most of the cutscenes probably didn't help that too much. But you know what really didn't help is that they kind of just throw you into the open world and let you go wild. You do the first story mission and then it's really of the races with towers to climb, side missions, main missions, nemesis shit. It's all a bit too overwhelming and it moves so fast. You can complete shit so quick that it feels almost meaningless. That's exactly why I stopped playing the first time like 8 years ago. I was doing so much side stuff I forgot what the main mission was and which icon was for the main story missions lol.

Still though it's a pretty fun game, probably worth your time.

Is it better than an Assassin's Creed game? Depends on which one you play, but probably not.
