I finally own every console Mario Party now that this has release on NSO!
There’s a lot I really enjoyed about this one! The mini games are pretty strong and the items are really wacky maybe teetering on too wacky but I like them.
I think the biggest drawback of this game is it’s boards. I’m not really sure why but when I look back at Mario Party 1 and 2 I just feeling like the boards are way more iconic. Not that these ones are bad just lacklustre. I’m also not a huge fan of the game guy space, having to bet all your coins just for landing on his space seems like a bit much.
Overall I enjoyed this Mario Party more than I expected! In fact with more playing over the years I think it could end up in my top 5!
