To this day, single handedly the best MMO I've ever played before it fell to the "Korean MMO curse". While it was an admirably built world with serviceable (though forgettable) fantasy narrative, and a combat system rivaled only by its inspiration in FFXIV (yet still different enough to set it apart), it was definitely carried by and truly shined in how brilliantly it married world PvP and meaningful guild efforts with vested community interaction. It had a series of community related (And importantly, driven) mechanics that managed to brilliantly capitalize on its genre In ways I haven't seen out of any MMO since. It was truly a unique and breathing world of its own back then on the Inoch server. Though now its a dead husk. An absolutely tragic turn of events, a masterwork MMO broken and discarded. The older I get the more I'm prone to think it was just a fluke, though for the time it was certainly lightning in a bottle. It had all the potential that FFXIV would later come to realize in its own right, and utterly squandered it to make out with just a bit more money than it already deserved. I don't know if I'll ever experience anything like it in any MMO ever gain, but I'll always be grateful I got to be there for it. I'm sure I'll always have the memories, at least.
