A stellar fps game with some of the most impressive gameplay and graphics I've seen, especially for it's time. Some of it looks dated but the stuff they do with the lighting here is absolutely impressive and something I don't see a lot of games around it's time or even sense really do, outside of horror games.

I think the story is decently presented, it doesn't really explain everything unless you do actively search for specific things such as phones and computers. But I think it still works

The gameplay is what holds this game together, first and foremost this isn't really a "horror" game. It's more of an action game with horror elements, but what makes it work is how fantastic the enemy A.I is and how they interact/react to the players choices. The weapons pack a lot of punch and sound fantastic, and the slow motion integration is what sells it the most.
