At first (or even at times) this game did feel like a step up in quality from the previous games but it still had its shortcomings.

The idea of introducing 3 different characters with each one of them having their own different background and how 2 of them live their life in Kamurocho was a great idea that was handled pretty well but the game can "rarely" suffer from pacing issues considering you play as 4 different protagonists. Unfortunately this game has some weak/questionable plot points that hinder the experience a lot and a lot of times the game was trying too hard with the "person you thought was an ally is an enemy".

Saejima goated character arc and best in the game, Akiyama by far the most fun character in the series, Tanimura was a great use of a playable character from the police department within the setting of the series.
