There is absolutely zero excuse for the game to run as poorly as it does, especially given that Pokémon is the highest grossing media franchise in history.

Putting that aside, good lord is the open world absolutely atrocious to look at. Even worse, the open world looks barren and unpopulated. I truly think that Pokémon should stick to the "open-zone" concept they presented in Legends Arceus, instead of a traditional open world.
