Played on Nintendo Switch
One day me and two of my friends sat down and we played through this entire game in one sitting. It was a lot of fun obviously as we completed it, but of course playing this game for this long a lot of fatigue sets in.
The cast of characters is so fucking good, I love it. Famous characters from all the biggest action films, all with unique abilities based off of the movie their in, it's dope. Every character being extremely unique is what keeps this game fresh, and mostly every character is good. (Will Smith sucks in this)
The level design is solid, it's a huge plus that characters can dig into every bit of the map, thus we can approach levels from multiple ways, again giving some variety. The map design isn't anything special but yeah, it gets the job done.
I should probably describe the game play. It's just a 2D gunner, but some characters are more melee focused while others have rockets or something. It gets extremely heck-tick, as you die in one hit. Enemies will go crazy, there's explosions and bullets flying everywhere in any battle. This is all amplified by playing with friends, cause them shooting stuff makes more stuff blow up, and it's a whole mess. But it's pretty fun man.
I think this game accomplishes exactly what it wants, it's a really fun game and if you have some friends to play it with it's guaranteed gonna entertain you, though fatigue may set in and you may get bored of it after some time. It's not a revolutionary game by any means, but it does what it wants and rocks it.
