Aaaaaand nothing ever lasts forever. After a fresh coat of paint into what would be Fortnite, they decided to throw in the bucket of mud into the wall again and see what sticked.

First, Zero Build is awesome and while I don't personally enjoy playing the mode I like that it's an option. If only they had optimized the map more for it instead of just being thrown like that onto the season it would've been better at least for me. I do like however that the first week or so we were all forced to play Zero Build, made people suffer and cry, I like it.

This season really felt more like a continuation of Chapter 3, Season 1 more than its own thing, mostly because they decided to add the other half of the new movement mechanics (this being mantling and sprinting)

Now, they got back HARD with the PvE mechanics, this time it wasn't so bad though, because instead of being ambushed by IO members you needed to take back different locations from IO but with the help of your own squad of goons from The Seven, which didn't make it so bad, in fact it was very beneficial as they dropped a lot of good loot.

Battle Pass this time around was very meh, a couple of good skins like Erisa and The Imagined but asides from those, neither the other skins or the gear in this season were all that good, big letdown from past seasons (and of course Dr. Strange was the level 100 woo hoo we love Marvel!!!!)

Collision event was good, like Star Fox good I guess? It only had the one gimmick of having a ship and going around and shooting with it, not much else.
