Went from grimdark, to psychedelic, and honestly I'm not mad at it. I do feel like the storytelling was a bit lost after a very satisfying finish to max payne 2. It didn't stick with me quite as much as the old ones, but it's still a great game in it's own right, and bullet time will never ever get old.
